To the Health Commissions of all Provinces, Autonomous Regions, Municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
In order to further improve the standardization and normalization of medical services, and to promote the unified and standardized use of medical terminology, our commission has organized a revision of the “Common Clinical Medical Terms (2019 Edition)” and developed the “Common Clinical Medical Terms (2023 Edition)” (available for download on the National Health Commission website under the “Medical Administration” section). It is hereby issued to you for reference and use by health administrative departments at all levels and relevant medical and health institutions in their related work.
