【Episode Introduction】
“The sweetness of rice surpasses all flavors.” A truly good bowl of rice is rooted in the soil, temperature, water source, and a myriad of flavors. In Mr. Yuan Mei’s “Suiyuan Shidan” from Hangzhou, one can see a life force that fully experiences the sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy aspects of life. If such care is given to a bowl of rice, then the medicinal and therapeutic principles contained in a good “Niudali Duzhong Pig Tail Soup” embody a subtle observation of people and nature, deep research into things, blending harmoniously with a good soup. The reasonings within are so vast that it’s hard to cover them all even in this episode. In this episode, we cross over to “Guanyin Listens to the World” to share with everyone the Chinese medicine health preservation principles contained in eating and drinking.
