Membranous Nephropathy Hemorrhagic Fever Study and Teacher Recommendation — Jiang Liangduo

Teacher Jiang Liangduo is a leading expert in the field of febrile diseases today, with rich practical experience. I was fortunate to attend two of his classes (the elective course “Traditional Chinese Medicine Epidemiology” at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine invited various experts to give lectures, and the first time I heard Teacher Jiang was there).

The teacher is already in his seventies (born in 1948) and is still active on the front line of clinical practice, which is admirable. I have forgotten much of what was taught in class back then, but the teacher’s humility (see 中医入门图书推荐——疯狂的伤寒论), caution (emphasizing to us how doctors should pay attention to hygiene, such as not eating or drinking in the office, and washing hands immediately after going home), bravery (hosting the prevention and treatment of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome in Shaanxi), and wisdom (how exactly to prevent and treat it) left a deep impression on me.

At the same time, Teacher Jiang is a lovable old man who makes lectures very interesting, with the demeanor of a great master but without any airs.
