Beginner Monthly Report Issue 1 20220506

Preface

Hello! Everyone new here, it’s been more than half a year since the last formal update of Beginner Evolution. During this time, due to personal reasons of Baishui, Beginner entered a fairly long rest period, but there were some small actions during this period. This newsletter is a summary of the work done in this period.

Recent Highlights

Recently, the most general and important content to pay attention to is the 14th Five-Year Plan textbook collection. Of course, other textbooks are occasionally uploaded on the Beginner forum. Please follow the tags #Textbooks and #Resources. Beginner @FriendG and @doggie are the main textbook uploaders. You can also follow their profiles to see if there are any new books.

In addition, Beginner has produced a tutorial. Baishui can guarantee that after watching this “E-book Download Tutorial for Everyone,” you can find the vast majority of resources you need.

Because it is exam month recently, many review materials have appeared on the forum. You can check the review materials compilation page to see if there is anything you need.

Changes in Beginner

New dynamics of the old business

Most students who come into contact with us do so because of the cloud disk, but for many reasons, the Beginner cloud disk was officially closed on 21.10.15. After that, we tried using other tools to share materials, but the heavy management tasks stalled this effort. Later, we thought it over and realized, do we really need to release all our materials? Not necessarily. Many times what people need are exam highlights, textbooks, and such materials, which only make up a small part. The rest of the vast sea of books is basically unread, so why spend a lot of energy managing them?

The final adjustment is: if there is a need, raise it, and the relevant materials will be uploaded and shared; if there is no need, let them continue to gather dust Orz. Of course, if you have a collecting obsession, you can download all files at any time :right_arrow: extraction code: y85a

Beginner Forum

Later, a new product was launched — Beginner Forum (https://forum.beginner.center). After long polishing, it now operates quite smoothly (but due to server performance limitations, it may lag when there are many users. If someone is willing to sponsor, please contact Baishui). The forum is seen by many as a product of the previous era, an outdated thing, but Baishui believes that compared to group chats with limited members and difficult management, the forum can distribute information more efficiently. At least, the phenomenon of “If I’m not in this group, I don’t know about this group’s matters” does not exist.

Of course, we still operate WeChat groups and have added a Feishu group. If you need to join, you are welcome (reply “join group” in the backend).

From reposting to integration or creation

Reposting is certainly very important, but filtering and organizing the most needed information from the complex data is even more important. Imagine, if you are about to take an exam and ask for review materials, and the other party throws over twenty files, each with lots of words. How can you review like this! But if someone sends a file with a note “This material is excellent! Accurate!”, doesn’t it suddenly become much easier (#^.^#)

Currently, this approach works relatively well in sharing review materials, but in other information areas, such as life experience, there is still room for improvement.
