Kind Reminder: Since each person has only one reimbursement opportunity per month, all outpatient medical expenses after the last reimbursement day in December 2025 (December 24) must be settled on the medical expense reimbursement day in March 2026. Medical expenses for 2025 outpatient services will no longer be reviewed after March 2026. If reimbursement is not completed within the prescribed time frame due to personal reasons, the consequences shall be borne by the individual.

Hospitalization Expense Reimbursement

Hospitalization documents for November–December 2025 should be submitted to the campus hospital on public medical reimbursement days. Location: Room 202, 2nd floor, Heping Street Campus Hospital.

For patients who cannot be discharged by December 31, 2025, and need continued inpatient treatment, please perform “in-hospital settlement” of hospitalization fees with the hospital on December 31, 2025, and submit the inpatient settlement documents to Room 204 of Heping Street Campus Hospital by January 5, 2026.

Hospitalization documents for January and February 2026 should be submitted to the campus hospital by March 11, 2026. Failure to submit due to personal reasons will be at one’s own risk.

During the winter vacation, students are only reimbursed for acute illness emergency hospitalization fees (emergency inpatient certificate issued by emergency department of grade II or above designated medical insurance hospitals). Other medical expenses are self-paid.

Reimbursement for medical expenses incurred after January 1, 2026, will proceed normally in March 2026. There will be no medical expense review or reimbursement work in January and February 2026.

Medical Expense Reimbursement at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine

Outpatient invoices will continue to be reimbursed online (a referral form must be obtained from the campus hospital before seeking medical treatment). Outpatient invoices from January and February 2026 will be reviewed together with those from March; please be patient. Hospitalization invoices should be submitted to the campus hospital by the reimbursement days before December 31, 2025. Location: Room 202, 2nd floor, Heping Street Campus Hospital.

Faculty and students who visited the Third Affiliated Hospital between January and November 2025 with a referral form from the campus hospital and have not yet received reimbursement, please proactively contact the Heping Street Campus Hospital to verify the invoices, or call 010-64286557 and explain your situation.

Outpatient expenses at the Third Affiliated Hospital for November 2025 will be credited to individuals’ bank cards by mid-December. Please check in time. If you have any questions, be sure to inform the Heping Street Campus Hospital before December 31.
