Project Introduction
Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Dongzhimen Hospital is preparing to conduct a 4-week clinical acupuncture study. The research focuses on the clinical efficacy evaluation of the Xingshen Tongtiao Interactive Acupuncture Method for treating post-stroke spastic hemiplegia. This study has received funding from the Central Universities Basic Scientific Research Business Special Key Project (2024-JYB-JBZD-028) and has been reviewed and approved by the Dongzhimen Hospital Ethics Committee. Participants are now being publicly recruited from the community.
During the study, free acupuncture treatment will be provided, and all trial-related examination costs will be covered. -
Recruitment Criteria
Suitable candidates: -
Diagnosed with stroke (including cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage) confirmed by cranial CT or MRI

Age between 35 and 75 years, any gender

Hemiplegia or monoplegia with increased muscle tone, limb stiffness, and limited flexion and extension movements

Able to cooperate with interviews, instructions, examinations, and treatments

Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form

Research Related Information
Treatment duration: 4 weeks
Free acupuncture treatment: 3 sessions per week, totaling 12 sessions
Free examinations: Surface electromyography and ultrasound muscle elastography, each performed twice
※ Surface electromyography and ultrasound muscle elastography are non-invasive examinations that cause no harm to the human body
