First, go to the Electronic Tax Bureau for Individuals official website, and select “I Want to File Taxes” → “Issuance of Certificate of Chinese Tax Residency Status”.
Click Apply Now.
Fill in the application year as the current year, the country as Republic of Singapore, and select “No Remarks Required” for remarks.
Select the tax authority corresponding to your household registration location, as this simplifies subsequent procedures.
Choose “No” for special requirements.

Estimated income amount and expected tax reduction amount: Fill in according to your situation. For me, 50,000 and 12,000 were sufficient.
Under the related attachments section below, you need to upload a cooperation agreement and an explanatory statement. Since there is no formal contract signed with Google, you must include a statement confirming that you have provided relevant services under the terms of the agreement, and therefore Google has made payments to you.

- For the agreement, you may directly upload: Google Agreement Bilingual PDF.pdf (319.7 KB)
Next, fill in your personal information and select “Household Registration Certificate” as the proof type.
- For identification documents, upload both front and back sides of your ID card.
- For the household register, upload the front side of the household page and both front and back sides of your individual page.
For certificate collection method, simply select electronic delivery.
