Double Perilla Pair, Magnolia Bark Front, Meat Given to Two Generals with Jujube Compassion, Phlegm Congestion Severe, Cough and Asthma Intermittent, Excess Above and Deficiency Below Cause Dislike
—The double perilla pair shamelessly pushed forward, banging their heads, but still failed to get the meat, which had already been given to the two generals. Feeling sorry for them, others gave them some jujubes. They ate while coughing up phlegm intermittently. Their upper abdomen was full and solid, but their legs were still weak and unable to walk properly. Their sloppy appearance caused others to dislike them.
—Perilla seeds and leaves, Pinellia, Magnolia bark, and Peucedanum (Qianhu)—excess above; Cinnamon, Angelica, Ginger juice, Fresh Ginger, Licorice, and Jujube—deficiency below
