DRLSE (Distance Regularized Level Set Evolution) image segmentation algorithm is an image segmentation algorithm developed by Professor Chunming Li’s team from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Professor Chunming Li’s Team). This algorithm is based on Distance Regularized Level Set Evolution (DRLSE) and is applied to edge-based active contour model image segmentation, featuring very fast computation speed. The very famous DRLSE paper has been cited over 1200 times. DRLSE won the 2015 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award (paper download), Matlab open-source code (code download), contact email chunming.li@uestc.edu.cn.

E3D 3D Digital Medical Modeling and Design System is developed by the team of Professor Shenghui Liao at the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Application Technology in Medicine, Central South University. It supports intelligent image segmentation and 3D reconstruction, mesh processing, surgical planning, automatic model registration, mirror repair, nail path design, fracture reduction, 3D vascular analysis, fracture line cloud map analysis, CAD 3D modeling, surgical guide design, measurement and annotation. Intelligent image segmentation can segment 10 types of tissue targets at once; supports automatic registration and fusion of multimodal images; supports simulating X-ray positive and negative images from CT; supports real-time dynamic 3D osteotomy effects; supports one-click automatic repair of mesh models; surgical guides support modular design and multiple reuses of nail path guide ports, slot guide ports, bridge structures, and motherboards, as well as guide hollowing, adding text, cutting edges, etc. CAD sketch design is possible, with operations like rotation and extrusion to generate CAD models. Provides remote cloud platform interface for 3D display and communication on mobile devices. The software website offers rich learning resources (system download, user manual, video tutorials), contact email lsh@csu.edu.cn.

RSF (Region-Scalable Fitting) model is an image segmentation algorithm developed by Professor Chunming Li’s team at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Professor Chunming Li’s Team). This algorithm is based on minimum region-scalable fitting energy for image segmentation. By defining a data fitting energy combined with a variable level set, it achieves energy minimization in image segmentation. The very famous RSF paper has been cited 1876 times. RSF won the 2013 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award (paper download), Matlab open-source code (code download). Contact email chunming.li@uestc.edu.cn.

VolumeShop_Compare software is a medical imaging AI software developed by Nanjing Huibaitu Technology Co., Ltd. It is part of the intelligent image segmentation comparison analysis functionality in the VolumeShop (under development) intelligent medical imaging software series. VolumeShop_Compare realizes 2D and 3D visual comparison analysis of intelligent medical image segmentation, assisting researchers in medical image segmentation AI experiments and analysis. Features of VolumeShop_Compare include: (1) 3D visualization of surface distance differences between algorithm segmentation results and doctor-labeled gold standards; (2) visual comparison of algorithm segmentation results and doctor-labeled gold standards on multi-directional slices; (3) 3D visualization rendering of segmentation results. Windows installer (local download), software manual (user manual download), demonstration data including pelvic CT images, doctor-labeled data, and AI segmentation results (local download), contact email changyong@huibaitu.com.
