Recently, the #XiaobaiJinhuaPodcast started trying video production and encountered a problem: the several tens of gigabytes of recorded material (with single files up to 6GB) couldn’t find suitable tools for sending to members in other cities for editing.
Forget WeChat, the file size limit is 1GB.
Email is actually good, with a high file size limit, but it’s cumbersome, and 163 mailboxes can only save files for 30 days.
We finally chose Feishu (Lark). Its operation logic is similar to WeChat, chat records can be synced at any time, files can be saved in the cloud long-term, and we haven’t hit any size limits yet — at least 6GB files can be uploaded.
Some Information
Q: Will chat records take up my cloud storage space?
A: Only files saved to the cloud drive within conversations will occupy cloud storage space (direct preview or local downloads will not); other chat records will not occupy cloud storage space.

Q: Are Feishu’s group messages and group files permanently saved with unlimited space?
No, that’s why people have fled. At first, it was permanent, then it was secretly changed to six months, and now it has secretly been changed back to permanent. So it depends entirely on mood. The latest document: 消息存储常见问题.
