Hello everyone, I am Baishui, also the founder of Shitu. Many students may not be very familiar with me because I mostly stay behind the scenes, responsible for overall planning, organizing specific activities, communicating with individual students, and rarely speak in the group.
Starting from September 2023, I began organizing exchange and learning activities on moxibustion. Later, I met Teacher Beishan, and we tried to cultivate a group of moxibustion professionals in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. By the end of November 2023, we had held at least five public classes, with an incomplete count of more than 70 total participants.
Personally, I believe I have always been following my original intention:
I believe that students who have just started learning Chinese medicine should have a better path to follow, and moxibustion is one path I have found so far.
I believe that students with solid professional foundations and outstanding personal abilities are just in the stage of accumulation and have not yet found an opportunity for a breakthrough, mistakenly thinking that they will achieve nothing in the future.
I believe that most students will not stop at moxibustion as a single skill but will eventually become a generation of good doctors who diligently seek extensive knowledge and have great virtue for the benefit of life.
However, recently I have increasingly felt my energy is limited. Trying to do everything only harms my health. Many nights I toss and turn for the sake of our small group, worrying that the plans I design cannot serve everyone well. Being in such a state for a long time has damaged my personal thinking and action abilities, leading to some bad behaviors that caused unpleasant experiences for some students.
Because of these reasons, I have finally made up my mind to withdraw from the management team. Recently, I have completed handing over all matters. The new management team comprises very outstanding students with rich management experience, kind hearts, and thoroughness. I believe that in the future, students will learn more and gain more!
