In a contemporary cohort of patients with STEMI undergoing PCI, neither different recommendations with respect to P2Y12 inhibitor pretreatment nor actual pretreatment vs no pretreatment appeared to have a measurable impact on MACCEs, stent thrombosis, bleeding, or procedural aspects.
